We had Disciple Now this past weekend at church for our middle and high school students... and what a blast it was!! We had 52 students come
and learn more about what it means to not simply be a fan of Christ,
but to be a COMPLETELY COMMITTED FOLLOWER. Lives and hearts were transformed and our awesome students took steps toward a more devoted commitment to our glorious God.
The weekend was full of worship, great messages from Tyler Crosson, lots of food (mostly pizza and sugar), serving at Harvest Hope and the Ronald McDonald House and precious time with our faith family. So thankful for these students and fantastic adults (like Ann and Jason) that we get to do life with.
One of the most rewarding parts of the weekend for me was watching my sweet husband serve the Lord and the church. He has a servant's heart and finds so much joy in what he does. It is not just a job to him- it's a passion. It was touching to see his tenderness and compassion for our students as he watched them grow closer to our King. I was blessed by it and can only imagine what a wonderful father he will one day be to our children. It spurs me on in my relationship with the Lord to see how he is constantly growing in his. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
