Sugar & Spice & Everything Nice

That's what little girls are made of :) Rachel and I hosted a shower for Lauren on Saturday and celebrated the anticipated arrival of sweet Addyson Reese. Lauren is due mid-May and we cannot wait to meet Baby Girl Brannan and welcome her into our family!

((Psalm 139:13-14))
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Farewell, Lexington Cheerleading...

...you've been so good to us. We celebrated an official ending to cheerleading tonight at Holley's last banquet. It was certainly bittersweet and I know my Dad was grinning ear to ear telling the angels in Heaven about his girl. Holley received the Allan Whitacre award for highest GPA on the team, Co-MVP, All Region and was acknowledged for being a four year letter on varsity. Glory to God for her talents and her treasure in Christ!

Smarty Pants

We had the honor of celebrating Holley this week at a dinner hosted by the district for seniors in the top 10% of their graduating class. This smarty pants is #6 out of 600+ students :)

Just a little mid-ceremony fun ;)

The Senior

It was a weekend of special lasts for Holley. Friday night was senior recognition at the basketball game and Saturday was her last Miss Wildcat. She was absolutely stunning as always. Words do not describe how proud we are of her. She is, without a doubt, the whole package with an unwavering faith and love for the Lord, intelligence, beauty, and ambition. I am blessed to be her big sis and I know our Dad is smiling down on his little "sweet potato" from heaven.

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
    but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
